At trailer launch of Sooryavanshi, Ajay Devgn was asked about reports of a disagreement with his Tanhaji co-star Saif Ali Khan. Here's what he had to say
After Omkara, Saif Ali Khan and Ajay Devgn reunited for Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior that released this year and turned out to earn BIG money at box-office. Ajay essayed the lead role of Tanhaji Malusare while Saif played the antagonist Uday Bhan Rathore.
Their performances were much appreciated in the film. However, reports of a fallout between them had surfaced back then.
Today, when the trailer of Sooryavanshi was launched, Ajay Devgn who also has a pivotal part in the movie was asked about these reports and in good jest, he began by saying “Maine bohot maara, taange todd di uski, abhi chal bhi nahi paata.” His reply initiated laughter and then, he added, “I don’t know from where you’ll get these reports. I don’t know what to say, but there’s no truth to them.”

For those who don’t know the complete back-story, apparently, Devgn who was also the producer of Tanhaji was miffed with Saif for expressing disagreement over depiction of historical facts in the film, in an interview with Anupama Chopra. That’s how the speculations grew that they are not on talking terms.
However, at the trailer launch event, Ajay nipped them in the bud. Sooryavanshi is directed by Rohit Shetty, produced by Karan Johar and it stars Akshay Kumar, Katrina Kaif, Ajay Devgn, Ranveer Singh. The film is slated to release on March 24, 2020.
